Sternglas was born from a simple idea: create minimalist Bauhaus-inspired watches that are both high-quality and affordable. Founder Dustin Fontaine, at 16, worked in a small watch factory in Mnster, where his passion for classic timepieces ignited. Frustrated by the high prices of well-designed watches, he set out to make timeless design accessible to everyone.

The journey wasn't easy. Dustin spent countless nights sketching and refining his designs, battling his own perfectionism. In 2016, he took the leap and launched Sternglas through a Kickstarter campaign, raising 16,000 for the first batch. The overwhelming support proved there was a demand for beautifully crafted, reasonably priced watches.

Today, Sternglas has grown into a team of 15 watch enthusiasts, offering a range of quartz and automatic models.
