Selten is a Hong Kong-based microbrand founded in 2017 by Leonardo Tsai. Coming from a watch-dial-making family, he developed a deep fascination with watches from an early age. After studying finance in the UK and working at JP Morgan, Leonardo chose to pursue his true passion that continues the family legacy and builds something exceptional on his own terms. Due to the utmost respect for German watchmaking, the name "Selten" is taken from the German word for "rare". According to Leonardo, "The quality, craftsmanship, and beauty of German watches, as well as the resilience of the German watchmaking industry, serve as a strong inspiration for me."
