Constantime Watches

Constantime is a small independent watch atelier based in Târgu Mureș, in the heart of Transylvania. They didn't inherit a watchmaking history; they decided to begin one. Their watches are shaped by the place in which they are created: the rhythm of fortified arches, the strength of stone and metal, and the changing light and colors of the landscape. They don't reproduce the past as decoration; they translate its atmosphere into contemporary proportions, textures, and carefully considered details.

Swiss mechanical movements form the foundation of their watches. The dials, hands, and visual identity of each model are developed in their atelier, where the components made in-house are individually worked and finished. Every watch is assembled and inspected in small numbers, with the support of carefully selected specialist partners for the components they do not yet produce themselves.

Their inaugural timepiece, Genesis, is a Swiss mechanical watch with a hand-finished dial and individually crafted hands, created in their Transylvanian atelier and limited to 25 numbered pieces. Each engraved brass dial is individually refined and finished, and the sword-shaped hands are created and finished specifically for Genesis. A traditional hand-wound Swiss caliber beats at the heart of every Genesis.
