Eska's journey began in 1918 in Grenchen, Switzerland, where founder Sylvan Kocher crafted timepieces that blended elegance with precision. The brand quickly gained recognition, especially in emerging markets like Brazil and the United States, for its classic designs and meticulous craftsmanship.

By the late 1940s, Eska had expanded its repertoire to include manual and automatic models, as well as watches featuring full calendars, moon phases, and chronographs. The Amphibian 600, introduced in 1959, became a standout, renowned for its durability and used by the French Navy, often compared to Blancpain's Fifty Fathoms.

After ceasing operations in 1987 due to the quartz crisis, Eska was revived in 2024 by enthusiasts Christophe Chevreton and Sinicha Knezevic. They honored the brand's legacy with the Amphibian 250, a modern reinterpretation of the iconic Amphibian 600, blending historical design with contemporary aesthetics.
