Weekly Digest
The Chronoscout Digest: December 8-14
Japanese lacquer work took center stage this week. Andoandoando released three urushi pieces, two A-1b variants in Togidashi and Kuroro finishes, plus an A-2 Bengara One, all unique pieces showcasing traditional craft techniques rarely seen in the microbrand space.
Zelos launched their new Blacktip diver in four variants, mixing aventurine and meteorite dials with the whirlpool-textured option. Erebus joined the aventurine trend with their ASCENT in bronze, offered in both 36mm and 41mm sizes.
Unimatic stayed busy with three collaborations, two Modello Tre chronographs and a Modello Uno diver with BSTN. Marloe followed last week's Sceptre S2 collection with three Aerodyne variants in Heart, Electra and Miami colorways.
Field watches had a strong showing from BOLDR's cycling-inspired Venture Velo duo and Praesidus's Arctic Field trio. Undone brought enamel dials in Verde and Azura, while Out Of Order added a jump hour complication to their lineup with the Forma Venti.
