The Chronoscout Digest: May 11 - 17

Ming dropped the 29.06 Peepshow this week and it's exactly what the name suggests: a watch that shows you its dial when it wants to. The hands are polarized sapphire discs. When they align, light passes through and the iridescent guilloché dial beneath appears in full color. When the hands hit 90 degrees to each other, the polarization blocks light transmission and the dial goes completely black. The effect cycles continuously as time passes.

Loresum launched their LS04 V2 in four stone variants: Aventurine, Eisenkiesel, Garnet and Bloodstone. Heinrich introduced the Helicoprion Lapis Lazuli, while Formex celebrated with the Essence FortyOne Skeleton "Stradale" limited edition. Henry Archer expanded the Vesterhav 38 line with Optic White, Vega and Aquila, plus a Tidevand Aventurine Alcedo Solis.

Cheers,

Michel
