The Chronoscout Digest: August 17 - 23

S.U.F. Helsinki dropped the Vetehinen Blue Spectrolite this week. Spectrolite is labradorite, but the good kind: it only comes out of one region in Finland, was found during WWII and flashes across a much wider color range than what you normally see. Which fits the brand. S.U.F. is Stepan Sarpaneva's more affordable line, built in Helsinki from Finnish Outokumpu steel and the Vetehinen takes its name from a water spirit in Finnish folklore and a WWII submarine.

Magrette went the other direction with a destro Moana Pacific Professional for RedBar NZ. Crown on the left, meant for the right wrist, which is a rarer build than most people realize and genuinely useful if you wear your watch that way.

Cheers, Michel
