Vaer’s USPS field watch

Vaer teamed up with the United States Postal Service on the C5 Postmaster, and it’s a fitting match: USPS has shipped Vaer’s watches since the brand started in 2016. The navy dial borrows postal colors, with a light blue outer ring, red details and a red-tipped seconds hand. It’s also Vaer’s first watch with a day-date, running on a Swiss Ronda 517 quartz with Sunday marked in red.

Haven Watch Co. went the opposite direction with three one-off dials painted by Doug Bloodworth, a photorealist known for detailed paintings of childhood favorites. Each dial shows a different cereal floating in milk: Fruity Loops, Cheerful O’s and Marshmallow Magic. There’s one watch per design, so once it sells, that dial is gone.
